It is also said that it was “Samukawa Shrine”, a troupe of “Chiba-gun Ni-za (Nami-Sho)” in the “Jinmyocho” of the “Engi-shiki” compiled in 905.

[Childbirth] [Easy delivery]
There is an anecdote that during the Muromachi period, when the wife of the Chiba family, who was the lord of Makuhari castle at the time, was suffering from a difficult childbirth, she prayed to four shrines including Ninomiya Shrine for a safe delivery, and a fine boy was born safely, so it is said that this shrine is believed to have blessings for safe childbirth and child rearing.
Main shrine

The current shrine building was built in Nagare-zukuri style during the Yasunei era.
About fortune

There was a sign like this where you tied your fortune.
When I asked the priest, he said, “I'm often asked where to tie the knot, so I think you should have specified that.”
At the same time, I was able to hear some interesting stories about omikuji.
It is a good idea to take your fortune home with you and read it once in a while, rather than tying your fortune on the spot.
Omikuji is not just fortune-telling, but a valuable lesson from God.
I read it again from time to time and use it as mental support when I feel lost or worried.
Later, when I decided to draw the fortune again somewhere, he said that was the time to tie the knot.
At that time, the situation has changed and you have received a new fortune, so it is time to return the previous fortune.

The priest recalled someone who drew a daikyo, or great misfortune, then tried again and drew daikichi, great fortune.
Asked what this change meant, he compared the slips and found that their advice was almost the same.
“Walking with your head down is dangerous” and “Look ahead and you will not trip” can express the same lesson in different words.
He explained that reading the message carefully and taking it to heart matters more than the label, whether daikichi, suekichi or another category.
